Enlisted rank

An enlisted rank (or enlisted grade) in the 7th Cavalry is any rank below a commissioned officer or warrant officer. The term can also be inclusive of non-commissioned officers. In most cases, enlisted service personnel perform jobs specific to their own occupational specialty, as opposed to the more general command responsibilities of commissioned officers.
